If you read in my previous entry my letter to GW Bush, this will surprise you: his secretary contacted my dad's secretary after getting her information from Karl Rove. George W. Bush wants to contact me so he had his secretary track down my information! Here is the email correspondence below between my dad's secretary, Mrs. Sander's and Bush's secretary:

Ms. Sanders:
Karl Rove passed on Katie Hawkins Beall’s thoughtful note to President Bush, and he would like to write her back. Per our phone conversation, we’d like to confirm a few things. Can you please confirm her rank, active duty status, and husband’s name? Do you have a mailing address?
